What Is Echoes of Freedom?
Echoes of Freedom is a public history project dedicated to uncovering, preserving, and sharing the stories that shaped the United States. Through visits to historic sites, battlefield exploration, artifact discoveries, and documentary storytelling, the project seeks to bring the past to life and connect modern audiences with the people and events that defined our nation.
At the heart of this effort is the Living U.S. History Archive — an organized research library designed for students, educators, and history enthusiasts. The archive serves as a growing collection of historical topics, resources, and discoveries that support the research and stories explored through the Echoes of Freedom project.
Together, Echoes of Freedom and the U.S. History Archive work hand in hand: the archive preserves and organizes the history, while Echoes of Freedom explores, documents, and shares those stories with the world.
